Graduation Practice
Thursday, June 4
Check-in begins at 7:30 AM
Practice begins promptly at 8:00 AM
All fines must be paid and detention hours completed before students receive graduation tickets.
Students who do not attend graduation practice will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.

Gates open for guests at 6:00 PM
Guests ages 3 and older require a ticket for entry.
The graduation processional begins promptly at 7:00 PM.
Guests arriving after the ceremony begins may be asked to wait until the processional has concluded before being seated.

Graduates must report to the Big Gym at 6:15 PM with their cap and gown.
Caps and gowns may not be altered. Students with altered caps or gowns will be provided a loaner for the ceremony.

Families of students who earned Perfect Attendance early-entry privileges may enter beginning at 5:30 PM.
Important Reminder
To ensure all guests can enjoy the ceremony, balloons, strollers, ice chests, speakers, large signs, fatheads, and inflatable items that obstruct the view of others will not be permitted inside the venue.

Reminder: The deadline to submit renaming recommendations for Cesar Chavez Junior High School (CCJHS) is Wednesday, May 27, at 11 a.m. Please visit https://www.ceres.k12.ca.us/article/2888612 for additional information, including a link to the renaming form.
An ad hoc committee representing parents/guardians, staff, students, Board members, and community members will meet on Saturday, May 30 at 9 a.m. at CCJHS to narrow the submitted name recommendations to three options. If additional consideration is needed, a second ad hoc committee meeting will be held on Monday, June 1 at 5 p.m. at CCJHS. Both meetings are open to the public.
Final recommendations will be presented to the CUSD Board of Trustees at a future public meeting.

Senior Send-Off is happening this Friday from 5:30–8:00pm on the Whitmore Lawn! This event is FREE for all graduating CHS seniors and is your chance to celebrate one last time together before graduation. Dinner and dessert vendors will be on campus, and seniors who purchased a yearbook will receive it during the event. Don’t miss out on a fun night with your classmates as we close out your time at Ceres High.
Seniors who were invited to the Senior Awards Evening tonight – don’t forget, check-in begins at 5:30 and the event will start promptly at 6pm. Dress to impress and we can’t wait to celebrate you. Make sure to bring your tickets!
