Labels not aligned when printing from Infinite Campus
Campus uses the AVERY 5160 as well as the AVERY 5163 - depending on what type of label you want to print.
* Mailing Labels (Census) - AVERY 5160
* Cumulative Labels (Grading & Standards) - AVERY 5163
The difference lies in how Adobe Acrobat interprets the data and tried to put it on the labels. Here is what you need to know:
Mailing Labels - AVERY 5160 (The most used one)
* Census > Reports > Mailing Labels
* Adobe Reader 8 or 9
* File > Print > Page Handling section
o set Page Scaling to "None"
o deselect any other checkboxes in the Page Handling section
o if these steps are not taken, Adobe Reader aligns
and centers causing the top labels to be too low, the middle labels just
about right, and the bottom labels too high
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
* set Page Size & Handling to Actual Size
Cumulative Labels - AVERY 5163
* Grading > Reports > Cumulative Labels
* Adobe Reader 8 or 9
* File > Print > Page Handling section
o now you DO want to allow Adobe Reader to "align and center" and "fit to print area" margins"
o if these steps are not taken, Adobe will print the outer labels too far off the label on either side.
