The Assessment and Categorical Projects office works with the CDE to provide, collect and analyze all of the state mandated assessments for STAR, CAHSEE, CELDT and SABE. In addition the office maintains the Measures database and provides reports and information to sites as requested. The Categorical programs of NCLB-Title I, SIP and EIA are monitored through this office through such activities as budget preparation, approval, school plan development and other items required through the Categorical Program Monitoring.
