Health and Illness Prevention Updates
Ceres Unified officials have received some questions regarding Swine Flu and Pertusis (whooping cough). Ceres Unified would like to remind you that we can all take steps to stop the spread of germs.
We encourage you to keep your children home if they are sick and contact your health care provider if they develop flu-like symptoms. Symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Remind your children to cough or sneeze into their elbow, not their hands, and remind them to wash their hands frequently with soap and water.
We will keep you updated as new information becomes available.
